Article 1156 : An obligation is a juridical necessity to give , to do or not to do.
On our LAW on Obligations and Contracts we were only at the first article of the General Provisions and yet it so stressing to the fullest.
Our professor left us a hanging question last meeting. He asked it but he doesn’t want to give the answer that’s he asked us to look for the answer everywhere.
And the problem now is I can’t find the answer everywhere.
Here’s the question: Why “not to give” is not included in the definition of obligations?
He told that why is it that there’s not to do , but there’s no not to give?
Can someone please help me? Pretty please :/
